Brett Bennett

 

 

 

 

Brett Bennett is the Global Head of Terminals and Stevedoring for Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL), a leading provider of global logistics and shipping solutions to manufacturers of cars, trucks, heavy equipment and specialized cargo.

 Mr. Bennett joined WWL in August of 2017 following a broad 22-year career at several AP Moller/Maersk companies.  At Maersk, he held several positions at Sea-Land Service and APM Terminals running container terminals in California and New Jersey.  Most recently, Mr. Bennett held the position of Chief Operating Officer for Damco Distribution Services which provided 3PL and SCM services to many industries including retail, technology, government and defense, lifestyle and others.  Prior to joining AP Moller/Maersk, Mr. Bennett worked for Roadway Express, a less-than-truckload freight motor carrier and held various operating positions in South Carolina and California.  Mr. Bennett graduated from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina where he earned a B.S. Degree in Business Administration.

Donna Henning is a finance professional within a leading global logistics company Wallenius Wilhelmsen Solutions.

Donna brings 26 years of financial leadership experience across multiple industries, geographies and scale of businesses. She has led various initiatives, implementing new systems, strengthening of internal controls and impeccable working capital management allowing for cost, time and operational efficiencies which have materialized into improved profitability.

As a registered Chartered Accountant with professional bodies spanning four continents, Donna brings a global approach to a portfolio encompassing a broad scope of business activities with specific focus on financial management, as well as responsibilities for risk, governance, procurement, payroll and managing business data through technology.  

Donna’s passion is ‘quite simply’ about the numbers, with a proven ability to leverage organizational revenue and profits through ever increasing customer demands and competition, without compromising quality or integrity, in today’s challenging economic climate and labour environment.

Outside of the office and based in Melbourne, Donna enjoys her leisure time participating in outdoor sporting pursuits with her young sons. She is also a mentor to a non-profit organization assisting women who have survived domestic violence. Achieving her pilots license at an early age Donna has a strong passion for all thing’s aviation and travel.

 

Llewellyn Russell, AM, JP BEc MBA GAICD FCILT 

 

 

 

 

Llewellyn Russell has 42 years‘ experience in maritime matters from both a Federal Government and private enterprise perspective having been a senior officer in the Liner shipping area of the  Federal Department of Transport and for 27 years head of shipping industry organisations including inaugural CEO of Shipping Australia Ltd.  He is also a Director of two charitable organisations dealing with seafarer welfare and two start-up companies, one dealing with IT systems in the maritime industry and the other the development of collapsible containers.

 He has a Batchelor of Economics degree from Queensland University and an MBA from the Heriot Watt University of Edinburgh. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ course and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of logistics and Transport Australia.    He was awarded the Member of the Order of Australia for services to shipping, trade and business organisations in 2009.
