This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Melbourne International RoRo & Auto Terminal Pty Ltd ABN 43 163 814 364 (“MIRRAT”) collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the www.mirrat.com.au website ("Site"). Please note that other terms & conditions may also apply for our services and products.
Our handling of your personal information is subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including the Australian Privacy Principles.

Personal information

We collect and hold information that relates to the personal identification details of Users. We may collect this personal information from Users in a variety of ways. These generally include when Users visit our site, register on the site, subscribe to the newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. MIRRAT shall at the request of a User delete or rectify any record of inaccurate or incomplete personal information it holds relating to that User. Also, any User who has registered and has a User profile can at any time delete the profile or amend the submitted information at any time.

Complaint handling

Routines regarding deletion of personal data

We retain the Users' personal information for no longer than such period as is necessary to fulfil the purpose(s) for which it was collected and to comply with applicable laws. When Users' personal information is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected or required to be retained under applicable law, such personal information shall be erased or de-identified so that it is no longer personally identifying information.

MIRRAT has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will post a notification on the main page of our Site, revise the updated date at the bottom of this page and (where you have provided us with an email address for the purposes of receiving communications from us) send you an email.
