MIRRAT wins leading environmental award
Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia awards MIRRAT its Leadership in Infrastructure Sustainability Award.
MIRRAT has been awarded the Leadership in Infrastructure Sustainability by the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia.
MIRRAT and its construction partner CPB have won the Leadership in Infrastructure Sustainability category at this week’s Sustainability in Infrastructure Awards which were held on Sydney’s Darling Island.
The award recognises the project/asset that exhibits the most outstanding leadership and greatest contribution to advancing infrastructure sustainability in Australasia.
The ceremony also saw MIRRAT officially handed it IS Excellent rating for “Design” and “As Built”.
This award is testament to the partnership between MIRRAT and CPB Contractors on this project. Great infrastructure sustainability outcomes can be achieved when the client has a clear vision and then works collaboratively with industry to achieve it.
MIRRAT are committed to sustainable operations and it is hoped this award highlights what can be achieved with smart design and a collaborative approach. Managing Director of MIRRAT, Paul Hand, said “it is an outstanding effort. We have an ambition to be the global benchmark in terminal sustainability and this is another step towards this goal” he continued “we are very proud to have had such dedicated partners on this project, who believed in our sustainability vision and worked hard to make it possible”.
